Casa del Mare Boutique Bed & Breakfast

Choosing a longer-term stay is a "punt"- unknown hosts-unknown venue. In this case our "punt" has been amply rewarded. Not only is the venue immaculate + tasteful, but the hosts (including the little daughter) are delightful, warm, interesting + genuine. It is refreshing to find someone who knows what the hospitality industry is all about and puts it into effect. Thank you for sharing your home & your hearts with us. Rex & Dora Smith.

This is the first bed and breakfast experience we have had in NZ and I would thoroughly recommend it. The accommodation was beautifully and tastefully appointed and met our every need. De'arne was a great host, made us feel most welcome and prepared a lovely breakfast. The whole experience was relaxed, informal and conducive to a restful and enjoyable stay. Thanks for your hospitality. We would love to come back as the opportunity arises.

Sophisticated Hospitable Homely Comfort at Casa del Mare

De'arne, Graham and Brylee our warmest thanks and appreciation for our overnight stay in your elegant and very comfortable home enabling us to unwind and relax. Many thanks for welcoming our friends to join us to watch the Bledisloe Cup rugby in the beautifully appointed guest lounge. Breakfast was so relaxed and enjoyable joining the other guests in your family kitchen - delicious homemade museli, fabulous hot continental croissants and "Graham made" scrumptious scrambled eggs. Only unfortunate part was this visit was all too short - an excuse to return!!

We will have to come for some more get aways next year to your lovely B&B, you guys are awesome and your home is devine and the bed, oh the bed that was to die for, in princess heaven haha. Rons breakfast was awesome too, thank you so much for a lovely weekend and we are thrilled you guys got some family time together too!

Just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with Daryl and I this last weekend. It was just lovely, your welcoming and hospitality was so warm. My very first B&B experience, and WOW what a great one! You certainly have a lovely home.

De’arne I have raved on to my family about your fantastic homemade muesli, I wonder if I could be cheeky enough to ask for the recipe. It was so delicious I would love to have a go and create it myself!

"Excellent accommodation with wonderful People"
This was an absolutely fabulous B & B. Top quality accommodation wonderful furnishings with our own separate lounge and patio area. De'arne & Graham were superb hosts making us feel extremely welcome. Only regret was that our stay was far too short.

"Luxury B & B"
Beautiful, plush and comfortable rooms. Nothing was too much trouble for Dearne and Graham and the breakfast spread was impressive and varied and would put the Ritz or Hilton to shame. We hope to return here again and again as it made our weekend get-away extra special.

"I saw this house on you website and instantly fell in love with it.
You made us feel so welcome & looked after us so well. We loved all the little details in the rooms. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Delicious eggs, great coffee... All round great experience. All the best to you. We'll be back!!."
