De’arne Yorke is originally from New Plymouth and started entertaining in her early 20’s, singing professionally as a lead vocalist in New Plymouth and Australia. Returning to Auckland De’arne joined "Take 2" a residential band at the popular Viaduct Basin during the America’s Cup Regattas. De’arne settled in Tauranga and formed the Duo "Velvet" opening for John Rowles at the Sebel in 2010 and entertaining for corporate and private functions.

Elizabeth Robinson is a singer/songwriter and loves the energy that comes with working as a duo. Elizabeth has been singing since the age of three and after moving back to New Zealand in 2006, she collaborated with Welsh Screenplay writer Jeff Murphy in 2010 to record the album "Light My Heart" which is a collection of songs written for forthcoming films and screenplays. She has also appeared on New Zealand’s "Good Morning Show" performing two tracks from the album; "Cool Rain" written by Jeff Murphy, and the self-penned song "My Arms Will Always Be Open". She is now signed to the Fragile Colours record label and work is currently underway on a second album.

Dee and Liz were both involved in the music industry independently of each other until they came together for Tauranga’s Tarnished Frocks & Divas Show in 2011.

They bring many years of professional experience to create a sophisticated and laid back sound. Their repertoire includes popular hits from your old favourites right through to modern soul, R & B and contemporary classics.
