To all the fantastic guests we have met this summer we "Thankyou for choosing to stay with us at Casa del Mare Bed & Breakfast". We are having some very hot days here in the Bay of Plenty for February and are enjoying getting down to the beach.

Graham & I get blown away by the fabulous people we met here every year and continue to enjoy playing hosts to you all.

We do hope to see you all again at some stage.

We enjoyed a great night Kontiki fishing with our guests Pat & John from Canada, Jim & Sharon from Syndey.The wine and converstion ran freely, the sauguges were great but the fish were not running strong that evening. However a fun time was had by all. Brylee met some children from Japan isn't it wonderful how children become instant friends. Our party grew in size. " More the Merrier" we say.

Summer has certainly arrived here in Papamoa and the Bay of Plenty is feeling some lovely warm days, my garden is blooming with all the recent rain and we have had the pleasure of guests from Australia, South Africa, France, Germany & around NZ over the last 2 months.
 

October 2011 proved to be a very interesting month with the Rena lodging itself onto the Astrolabe Reef which has now broken into 2 and the salvors continue working on he Rena. Our papamoa beach is clear and many locals and tourists are enjoying our beautiful beach. We have a great view from our balcony so if you are thinking of having a little break we would love to see you.
